Default Need help with center stand.

I recently picked up a chrome center stand and am getting ready to install it. I'm able to tell that two of the brackets attach to the same bolt holes that mount the lower front crashbar. There are two other tabs perpendicular to these with bolt holes 6 1/8"on center. I don't seem to be able to find anywhere to attach the second set of tabs. I'm including a picture of the center stand that I have. This is going on a 2000 RK Classic. Hope I'm not missing any parts.

I'm only throwing this out there, do the center stand numbers match for the bike? They are different.

The person that sold it to me said it came off of a 2003 Touring bike. There are no numbers on the stand.

I have one on my 1990 Glide - from what I can make out it is easier to use than the centre stand, also very stable. Part #99002-88C, if you can find the instructions for it.

Having the correct name (display stand) was the key to a successful search. Found a 8 year old post that tells how it is fitted. Remove the voltage regulator and sandwich the stand between it and the frame with the regulator mounting bolts. Then the swivel bolts to the engine guard mounting holes. Should be pretty simple. I need to make some short spacers and that's about it. A job for tomorrow morning after I pick up some longer bolts.

I bought mine new, but now you mention spacers I do recall having to use extra washers. The mounting points on the stand are very strong and not inclined to give, when trying to tighten things up! Hence an extra washer or two, so if you are making spacers check as you go, as to do the job they may not be identical in thickness.
