2023 CVO recall
Hey guys and gals. Any one know if the recall on the 23 cvo street glide - Affected RG too? And did that carry over to the '24 models? Are they both governed at 100mph? What's the deal with loss of stability at high speeds?!?

New fairing design. Wasn’t fully vetted clearly.

Some sort of ballast added under the fairing to the 2023.5 CVOs, is my understanding.
Confidence inspiring, ain’t it.
How was that fixed?

I can only attest to what I see regarding any issues with the SG. I have the 24 and maybe it is all fixed. Just this Saturday I went out and about going pretty much North on I-45 and then back South.
A lot of the wild weather in the plains is having to do with the winds coming from the south off the Gulf.
The tail wind going north had to be sustained 20-30 with gust in the higher 30MPH range. It was the same wind speed coming back.
I had no issues with anything. The speed limit drops from 75 to 65 on 45 and of course everyone goes about 10 or so higher. So it is safe to say I may have been up in the high 80s ish for awhile.
I failed to put my half helmet (should have taken the full!) on correctly so the wind was pulling on it pretty hard.
I have always had a bike with some type of windscreen (Ultra/Heritage/VTX1300) and this bike is pretty similar to any I have had regarding buffeting.
I need to get out in the open and really be out on the plains for a real test. I can't wait to do it!
Just got 1000 miles in but mostly short urban/rural stuff.
