Hi everyone. First of all apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place… At the moment, I have a Heritage Softail. I have fitted a Garmin Zumo 550 and a Starcom intercom. When I first fitted it, I received a lot of electrical interference through the headset. The only way I eventually rectified this, was to stick the intercom in a tank pouch, and to keep the audio cables away from the area under the seat (I stuffed the wires under the speedo). Now then. I play to get a new bike, and have my eye on an Ultra Standard. The thing is, the only place for the starcom, will probably be under the seat. So my question is, has anyone else got a Garmin Zumo 550 & Starcom intercom – fitted to an Ultra. If so, have where did you fit the unit – and did you get any electrical interference? I guess I am trying to avoid the issues I had before, but want to ask before spending hours fitting it! Thanks in advance!
