Default SERT,SEAC and Slip On's installed on my 08

Just got my Ultra back from having a SERT,SEAC and Rush 2 1/4 slip on's

Here are the results
69.9 max Hp
80.26 max torque

Thought I would get a little more Hp.
Any opinions??

The 2 1/4 Rush mufflers are a bit loud. I will go with smaller baffles next spring

you would have gotten a lot more with Rinehart true duals. Of course they cost more. Even so the numbers you report sound low. Was the bike dyno tuned?

You should at least get 2 or 3 more hp when you spend your next 1k.

mine runs 74 h.p. and 82 tourque...........thats with a canned program.......i'd say the dyno guy didnt do ya right. my first time i had numbers very similar to yours. i came to find out they had the wrong program in there. you cant under estimate the ability or care level of the dyno tech.

From taking to the mechanic at my shop true duals has not increased the hp and torque on any of the bikes they were installed on here. In fact some even lost a little. Unless you do something like a stage-3 110 ci upgrade with some radical cams true duals mostly just buys you good looks and better sound. Some get the hp to stay the same, but loose a little bit of torque. The stock header pipes, with the crossover pipe and some good slip-ons with the SEAC and SERT will almost always give you a better performance boost.....may not look as good, may not sound quite as good, but if performance is what you are looking for that's the best place to spend your money.

From my limited experience basic slip ons should get you a little more Hp and Torque. Your numbers are in the range for awhat you might get with a twin cam 88. I don't think you have to do true duals. In fact, it is my understanding that true duals actually decrease performance, hence the need for a cross over.
