Default Mustang Seat - one vs two piece

Anyone have comments on the Mustang Seat (Ultra One Piece Touring 75449) versus the Mustang Two Piece Solo (like the 75353) - wondering:

1. Is either one or the other more comfortable?

2. Any more room for a 6'2" guy with one vs the other?

3. Looking to get a driver's backrest - does everyone go with the Mustang or the MoCo backrests? Any issues using the MoCo backrest with the Mustang one piece?

4. Does the Mustang seats really make you seem to be sitting on the gas tank?

I have a Corbin seat and neither my butt or the seat has grown to like the other yet (been like 5,000 miles).

1) can't comment, i have a solo w/ pillion.

2) i'm 6-1 or so. plenty of room for me. set me back and lower than the stock pos seat.
i run highway pegs low on the crashbars for a place to stretch out when needed.

3) mustang backrest. less finicky than hd. works wonders for long days.

4) not for me.

Solo without backrest here. Added the biggest passenger cushion, and with its overhang, helps support my back. With rear seat in place and riding solo, its pretty comfy, however with the better half, I cant lean back like that, and I notice how little cushion the solo seat has. Wouldnt mind trying out the one piece and comparing, or a sundowner. Im 6'4' ish btw, and dont feel like Im sitting on the tank.

Have a one piece Mustang Sport Touring Seat with the MoCo backrest. I tried the sundowner and didn't like it. This seat for me is much more comfortable. Same width as the stock seat, the passenger pillion is a little wider. I don't really think it pushed me forward. My arms are still in the same position reaching out for the bars. The HD backrest is easy to use with this seat and helps my back.

The two peice will sit you about an inch lower and about .75" further back, so that would in fact give you a bit more room.

One thing to remember, the distance from the gas tank to the rear seat bolt is a fixed distance, so any seat that gives the RIDER more room will consequently take away an equal amount of room from the passenger to do so. (dunno if you ride with a passenger or not)

Here is some info I put together while trying 4 different seats, two of which are the ones you asked about:

Another thought may be to send your stock seat to Allen @ Mean City. For $100 he can move back, up or down plus make it a very comfortable placce for your butt to spend the day.

I'm 6'2" and I went with the 2 pc. setup for the added room. It moves you back about an inch and down about an inch.......and for me that was perfect.
