Default Passenger floorboard bolts

I lost my right side passenger board with the Kury adjustable pegs yesterday. The bolt broke. This is the second bolt that has broken. Has anyone else had an issue with these bolts?

After over 13,000 miles I have had no issues
perhaps you should consider stainless

Got 20K on mine. The odd thing is only the right side does it. I'm very good at figuring out why something broke, but this one has got me stumped. They are not corroding through but snapping off.

You talking the bolt that holds the stock passenger board mount to the frame, or you talking one of the 3 bolts that hold the Kury adjustable peg onto the stock mount? I have since change all of my bolts out to stainless as I needed longer ones anyway because of the spacer kit I got from soos here on the forum

I've lost them both Pass Floorboards with-in 14 days of each other... Called HD dealer and they said it happens...

I have the Kury pegs and I have not lost any bolts as of yet. Figure at least 20,000 miles ago. Lucky I guess.

Had the same thing happen to a friend of mine with only 2000 miles on his bike. Nobody has ever sat on the back of the bike and while we where on a trip it just fell off as we where riding. He took it back to the dealer and they where happy to charge him for a new one.

That's your friend's fault for allowing them to charge him. There's no way in hell I'd pay for a bolt that fell or broke off my still-under-warranty bike with 2000 miles on the clock.
