Default Rear bumper

Any hints on removing the rear "bumper" on an Electra Glide Classic. I don't much like the looks of it, so I took it off, but it seems like it also acts as a brace to connect the saddlebags and rear fender together giving some extra support. Is there a replacement part that might be hidden behind the fender? Thanks.

It does. You need pn#91140-04 to replace it.

I removed the stock bumpers and added the HD inserts. Here is a pic of the rear insert...

Thanks for info, but I'm looking to remove the entire bumper (chrome and all) I'm hoping there's something out there that can be hidden up under the fender.

Thanks, Dawg. I'll have to check with the dealer as the book that I have doesn't have that number. As long as I know the parts been made, I'm sure I can dig one up. Thanks again.

The part no. Dawg gave is correct; it's what the SG, RK Custom, and RG use instead of the rubber/chrome bumper. I bought mine from Zanotti, but FBI and trike conversion companies probably have them as take-off parts.
