OK. So how do those of us who are ... vertically challenged (I'm 5'-7", 30 in inseam) avoid burning the back of their left thigh on the rear pipe? Even here (Albuquerque, NM) in the dead of winter, I am occasionally reminded that there is one heckuva hot pipe down ther when I feel it impinging on my skin. More significantly, I am hoping for an idea on how to avoid melting a hole in my brand spanking new H-D rain suit the first time I have to use it. This same pipe is what caused the demise of my (admittedly old) original rain gear.
Anybody got any great suggestions? Thanks all, this is one great place to exchange ideas.
I know what you mean, keep it moving or shut it off!! You might take a look at these, I think I might give them a try before summer gets here. Got to get prepared!!
