Default Leaking Breather Tubes

Each year I tear my EG Standard down and give it a good cleaning and each year the rubber breather tubes coming into the air cleaner backing plate is rotten and leaking. I guess its the high temperature of the heads causing the rubber tubes to break done and crack. It makes a little oil on everything I have to clean up. Not much but I hate any kind of oil leak. Is everyone else having the same problems? I just buy new ones each year, but was wondering is there is anything out there that will stop this. Maybe someone makes a high temperature tube or a metal tube?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

ZZ

You can change out your air cleaner to a model that incorporates the venting into the backing plate that would eliminate the tubes. I have the Screaming Eagle one that Harley sells for the 58mm and it eliminates the tubes.
