Default FLHX Horsepower Upgrade

I'm purchasing a FLHX on Friday. I have about $2000 for horsepower upgrades. I want to purchase everything for the engine upfront and have the dealership install it before I pick it up. What will get me the best bang for the buck?

Thanks for your help!

That's what I was thinking...but by the time I do the kit, pipes, air intake, and download that will probably be close to $3000. Right?

I did the 103 on my 07 Road Glide.&nbsp\\; I have been really happy with it....but now after HDForums I know I need to save for heads, cams, and a 2-1.&nbsp\\; According to the boss I gotta save my milk money first.

Is the 103 gonna make more power than say hi flow heads, cam, gear drive and so on? I guess what I'm saying is there a better path to take then the 103 kit? I know there are guys with the 95" kit with extras making almost 100 hp.

If you're starting from bone stock, and have to pay dealer labor rate, you really aren't going to get much for $2,000. I would either stick with stock and save the money until you can do a complete upgrade (big bore, heads, cams, exhaust, intake, complete tune), or just go with the pipes, intake, possibly cams, and tune and save the rest of your money if any is left over.
&nbsp\\;
Not exactly sure what a&nbsp\\;full blown big bore kit (including labor) would run, but my guess would be around $4,000.Just my opinion.
