I have a 2006 Ultra Classic that I am currently putting the quick detach tour pak on and installing quick releases in the harness as well. MY QUESTION: is there any reason that I cannot remove the “lower support bar”- the bar that has the threaded holes for the bottom of the license plate. Mine is corroded from the previous owner/ age and I don’t think it goes with sleaking the bike down.
