Default Updated torque spec on fork tube plug and cap

For anybody that does their own work....Under M1233 the MOCO has changed the torque spec for 1980-2009 touring and 1984-2009 softail models fork tube plug and fork cap to 60-70 foot lbs. This applies to both the fork cap and the fork tube plug.

Are you referring to the fork tube drain plug? 60-70 ft lbs seem way to much to me for that little screw!

No, see the above post with the attachment.....it's the fork cap and tube plug under the fairing as if you were changing forks.
