What Would Your Dream Road Trips Be?
OK Everybody,
We've got some time to kill this weekend in between NFL playoff games, so let's take my last thread one step further...
Limiting your answers to 3 trips in the continental United States, what would your ultimate dream rides be (and have you already done one or more of them!).
Mine would be (in no certain order):

Mine would be (in no certain order):
- Taking the PCH from LA to Seattle
- The entire Blue Ridge Parkway (which seems to be a favorite with my Forum buddies)
- Spending about 2 full weeks in the Rockies

Dude, you've touched my heart. We were set up to spend 4 nights in Gatlinburg last year but had to cancel as my wife's
Grandmother was put in a nursing home and she's the primary visitor/care-giver for her outside of the folks at the home itself. I promised her that until her Grandmother passes away, I wouldn't set up any longer vacations if she promised to take more 3-4 day trips in the meantime.
I figure that between the BRP and the Smokies, I'd like to spend at least 5 nights in that area.
Your generosity is most welcome and we thank you for your kind offer. You never know, we may give you a heads-up one day.
You are very fortunate to live so close to all that beauty.

North Carolina to Key West to New Orleans back to the Great Smoky Mtns.
Did the Blue Ridge Pkwy. from Cherokee to Front Royal. Absolutely the best biking road around if you make the trip before June or after September. An exception to this would be during color season. Traffic is out the rear during late October and the first week or so of November.

I'd also like to ride the Pacific Coast Hwy all the way up to Seattle.
Take a month-long trip all around the USA - Taking the southern route from San Diego to Florida, then up the east coast... Then along the northern states/Canada border and down the PCH to San Diego. I'd stop at historic and interesting places along the way and just have a nice relaxing trip.

EGK,
Once you get here, 5 days won't be enough!! BRP is a good ride anytime, but it's breath taking in the fall. And the offer stands!!
