Default Bassani Road Rage or D&D Fatcat

Ok I know, I know that it's been covered in general relative to which 2/1 to go with over and over till ya puke lol. I'm going with a 2/1 on my EGC... now the indy that's going to do my 95" down the road is suggesting the Bassani Road Rage. I don't know anything about the pipe other than what I've done searching here in general and found some good info. I know from experience that the fit and finish on the Fatcat is second to none and has a full coverage heat shield etc. How about the Bassani fit and finish etc....

Help me out lmao!

Thanks

you can't go wrong with either pipe, it depends on the sound you prefer--performace wise they are very close.

I'm not a fan of the looks of the Road Rage at all, too many joints in the pipes for my liking.

I always recommend the Fatcat to people looking for a good 2-1 system, go with the quiet baffle and you'll be very happy.

Now you have to update your signature to show your new ride...........out with the old, in with the new.

How does the quiet baffle compare to V&H ovals? Also, I once heard 2 in 1 are best for high RPM riding. Do they increase at the lower RPMs as well. I'm just learning about 2 in 1s.

Really A 2/1 is better for down low rpm TQ and mid range.

I've been wondering if you were going to read that comment lol. I'll agree with ya on the Fatcat. Had it on my RG with the not so quiet baffle and it was off the chain.

I have the road rage on mine and love them for the performance. A friend has the fat cat and when you compare the two the fat cat has a, for lack of better terms, sexier look than the road rage. The road rage has a hot rod look. JMO. The road rage is loud, but it is all what you like.

The performance being basicly equal go with what looks good to you. The fit and quality of the RR is very nice
