Best GPS

I'm using it with no problems. Large screen, mP3 player. Will broadcast directions through your radio. It will even find your bike...if you happen to forget where you parked. I switch it back and forth between all my vehicles. I had a Garmin 2720, I think that was the model. Built for motorcycle use. I sold it and bought the 760 for all the features it has. No regrets. If I get caught in a rainstorm I either take it off or cover it. Works great for me.

I recommend buying a real motorcycle GPS that is shock and water-resistant.
Even if you are cost cutting, you can still find inexpensive Garmin 2710/2720/2730/2820 GPS units on ebay and re manufactured unit on GPS sites.
If you get a Nuvi you'll just have another toy to cover or remove when it rains, and I am not aware of a locking mount for them either.
Best of luck.

I think the Garmin Zumo 550 or the new 660 has it nailed. Nothing better for a MC application INHO. Check out http://www.zumoforums.com/

Here is a new spin use it and it works like a charm. I travel a lot for business so I have a need to carry a GPS with me. I have a new blackberry storm and signed up for the VZ navigator 9.99 a month. This think is amazing I no longer need to travel with a device just have my phone with is always on me. This has all the features of a full gps and more include traffic. The thing is it will work with Bluetooth headset so on my bike it works with my Scala Q2 like a charm, I don't even mount it the directions are so well spoken I do not need to look at the screen so it is one less thing to worry about. Maps are always updated with no cost.
