Custom MCHITCH Trailer Hitch - With Pics
I've been researching trailer hitches for a while for my Ultra and finally found what I wanted. I wanted to keep the look of my bike the same and I wanted a receiver type so that I had options other than just a trailer. After deciding on MCHITCH, I gave them a call and talked to Todd and explained what I wanted and even sent him pictures of my bike. I didn't want to change the looks from the rear with my mudflap and all of the fringe lining up at the bottom. Todd and I agreed that a stock hitch would not work for me. Long story short, he had a used ball hitch that he could make me a deal on and I could modify it the way I wanted. Todd made me a package deal on everything that I would need to do what I wanted to do. After a little cutting and welding on the hitch I had it blasted and powdered coated.
Todd is a great guy to deal with and the hitch that they make is pretty impressive. There is no doubt in my mind that this hitch will outlast me. It is built like a tank and it looks great. If you are need of a rock solid trailer hitch, check out MCHITCH (http://mchitch.com/). They can also color match your new hitch to match your machine. Talk about cool and invisible.
Here are the pics of the hitch in order. It started as a used ball hitch and ended up a receiver hitch.

The hitch is hidden very well, just like their stock hitches. Especially when they are the sam ecolor as your bike.
I haven't hitched a trailer up yet but probably will next week. My brother in law has a Piggy Backer that I will borrow. I'll probably wind up buying my own Piggy Backer down the road.
