Default 103" SG vs VTX 1800

Well my pop rides a VTX 1800R, [strong runing bikes] I had a 06 RKC 88" with stage 1 and slip-on every time we would ride together he would make a *** out of my RKC. Rode together for the first time with the new SG. He had to try it. Whole different ball game this time. SG with the 103" will walked dog!

+1--he's being nice to you -- I don't know of any HD 103's that could beat a VTX 1800; I am not saying they do not exist -- I have just personnaly not seen one.

As a former owner of a vtx 1800, he was being nice. Honda couldn't sell those things but they sure do run.

Well, it could happen. Maybe. I kept up with one on my 95" Dyna one day(whole lotta work in motor). Bikes were about evenly matched up to about 70 at which point i slowed down. You would have to have a really really good running 103" though. I also have a 103" Road Glide that will pull the front wheel off the ground and the Dyna would just run away from it at any speed. A VTX would eat my 103" for lunch. Not saying there's not one out there that could outrun a VTX but it would have to be a really good running 103 and a crappy running VTX.
