2010 Road Glide Custom w/Mustang Solo & Passenger Setup - pics
I just received my Mustang solo seat with rider backrest and passenger seat. I'm super impressed with these products... they reek quality. Much higher quality than my H-D Sundowner, which was a comfortable seat, but very obviously not up to Mustang standards by any means. I'm talking about the thickness and quality of the materials, the attachment mechanisms used, the fit and finish. Mustang is top shelf! Here's the bike with stock seat:
I decided to buy the Mustang seat in two pieces, so I can ride with solo configuration when my wife isn't riding with me and add the passenger seat and backrest when she is. So here's how it looks in the various configurations:
I can highly recommend this set-up vs. the full one-piece seat if you like to ride solo with a "solo" looking bike and also ride two up as well.
If you've never experienced riding with a rider backrest, let me suggest you try it out. The support and aid to good posture makes a huge difference in riding comfort and being able to ride for hours on end without back fatigue from slumping on your seat. After my experience with the rider backrest on my 2004 Road King Custom, I will never want to ride again without using a rider backrest.

I got the standard driver backrest that comes with the solo seat w/backrest combo. Bought directly from Mustang. There's a 14-day return if you don't like the seats. All together it was in the $700's. I am thrilled with the versatility and feel of these seats! Great look with the solo and great comfort/utility for two-up when you need that!

Thanks! I just found the set up on Ebay new. Your passenger seat is the 13.5" recessed passenger seat right? What does your lady think of the passenger seat in terms of comfort? Any complaints or praises?
Thanks again.
