Default D&D 2-into-1 Installation - Pics, Movie, and Sound

Many thanks to Jonny, fellow forumite, for his work in installing my new D&D Fat Cat Boss 2-into-1 pipes and SE Stage 1 Air Kit. With little assistance from me, Jon did a masterful wrenching job - fasteners torqued to perfection. Something I probably could have done myself... in 10x the time! Thanks Jon for your awesome help!

Jon snapped some pics during the process with his cell phone:

Here's me doing a little clean up work

Not ALL of this was consumed during the installation work!

My Golden Lab "Harley" spent the whole time trying his best to help!

Just today I finally got some time to make some stills and a movie to convey the sound and looks of the exhaust. This exhaust is a bit on the loud side and has a bark and growl that commands attention. Best of all, the throttle response is now fantastic and my butt-dyno is most impressed! I've got a pair of 103ci jugs and pistons and an SEST awaiting installation, but the way this bike performs now, I'm not so sure I really need the 103ci kit nor the SEST!

The movie is available in high definition if you use the Youtube link and watch it there. When you're there, hit the HD button and the FULL screen button if you have a good internet connection. This was shot in 1080p.

And here are some stills of the finished job:

And here's the MiniBeast horn I installed a few weeks ago (sound of it is in the movie above) - this sucker is LOUD!

They look good. The horn cover looks pretty sweet. Nice way to blend it in. Video didn't work for me, but I bet it sounds sweet!

Nice looking bike, A little to load for me but to each their own,
I liked the video. No walk to the bike, turn the key, push the run button
and wait........
Nice stills too.

Sounds and looks great bud. What baffles do you have in those? Loud or quiet?

FunkyNova66... the baffle is the "BCQ Perforated Wrapped". I thought this was the "QUIET" baffle, but I think they have another variation that's got more restriction and is quieter. I'm getting used to riding with this baffle, but I wouldn't mind the volume being toned down a little. Sure sounds gnarly blasting down the road, though... even the decel sounds gnarly. Amazing sound when you're gettin' on it!

This is the model of the exhaust system:

And here's how the baffle looks:

OK bud, you're goin' to have to break it to her sometime... tell her your new DnD's are designed for safety... alerting others on the road of your presence!

That does sound sweet. It's probably one of the better quality "sound" videos I've seen (heard?)!

Just wait till ya pack some compression in those cylinders & add a decent set of cams.... "Then", it'll talk to ya! Don't ask me how I know....
