just wondering , ive tried about all of them and still really cant decide what i like best, clear tint or dark shield.

 

I never had a tint but I do like the way a clear is almost invisible when your behind it and can still see all the chrome.

When the evening hits, hard to see with the extra dark tint.

Dark tint for me. I look over it though.

 

Short shields I like tinted. If I'm looking through it, needs to be clear.

 

depending on what bike - for my road king I wanted clear so it isn't so noticable and I can see the road/headlight etc. If I had a street glide probably dark or even painted. Ultra I'd probably go light tint if able to match paint. Joe

 

Whether YOU look over or through pretty well answers your question. Wearing sun glasses at night is potentially suicidal.

 

I cannot look through a motorcycle windshield, If I can't look over and see the road, it is too tall.

And clear or dark depends on the style of bike...

On a Heritage or Road King, I prefer the looks of clear, dark to me in that style shield reminds me of '70's male **** star sunglasses...

On a batwing or sharknose, I prefer the look of dark tint. Clear reminds me of old man reading glasses.
