Default Headset for half helmets or no helmet

Or no helmet.

Anyone use this? It might be a good alternative to a full face or 3/4 helmet.

Here is a link to the picture.

I have a set and wear them all the time in the summer with a half helmet. They work well but you have to get used to the way they fit over and around the top of your ears.

Don't know how they would fit without a half helmet....but with the helmet, youhave to get used to the speakers sitting directly on your ears. Not really so bad for me, but can imagine someone complaining about it.
Riding with just the headset and NO helmet...? Never tried it, but they would seem to be kind of loose to do that.
With a helmet, they sound fine..I have to keep the mic close to my lips to use intercom.

Thanks Dawg.

On the 7 pin DIN plug I added a standard headphone jack for any type of earbuds to plug into.

I just picked up a pair of the IMCMoto headsets, and they are great! I ride with no helmet, just my doo-rag, and the headset works fine, even at 60 mph+. It does take a bit to get them adjusted so that they fit correctly over your ears, but once that's accomplished, they work great. They keep a lot of wind noise out, and the sound is excellent. Very happy with the product!

Where did you get the parts for the DIN plug? I have been looking to make one so that I can use Plantronics headset 480, but can't find the correct parts without destroying a good lower cord (too much money for that).

I also wear the overpriced HD branded IMC moto headsets and they work great when not wearing a helmet. Just use the clip and attach it to my shirt so the cord doesnt pull down around and put pressure on my ear. Wish I had known that IMC built the HD ones before I bought them!

Din Plugs are available on ebay. 5 pin is more comon than the Harley 7 pin but they are there.
