I am considering PM Renthal grips or Avon Air Cushion Grips for a 2007 Streetglide. I have medium size hands. Any experience or recommendations?

 

love the PM grips. I havent physically seen the Avon grips to do a comparison.
I have the PM grips on my roadglide and on my nitetrain.

 

I have a set of slightly used Black PM grips for an 07. I'm not using them as I have a 2010 now.

50 bucks + 5 bucks shipping. Just an option for you Sir.

I have the PM's and love them. They are very comfortable, I can not speak on how they hold up long term though. They have only been on my bike for a few miles before it was parked for the winter. I looked at the Avons and considered them but there were a lot of people who spoke highly of the PM's so I did not want to take the chance with the Avon's. Not to say they are not just as good I just did not want to take the chance with them.

 

As far as the PM's holding up, just know that replacement rubber sleeves are readily available.

Love mine. 32k miles and I'm on my second pair of the sleeves.

Very "sticky" in regards to how they grip your gloves or bare hands.

 

Love the PM grips. 24k and they still look brand new.

 

I'm in the same boat trying to make a decision.
Avon grips are made in the USA and half the price. Those 2 factors may of made up my mind. Anyone have the Avon grips?

I put the PM grips on when I put my bagger apes on. After I grabbed a pair of the PMs a guy I know had on his, I had to have them. I've had them on for about 2K miles now and love 'em.
