Default Craigslist Score!

Just picked up a set of touring hard saddlebags complete with hardware for $200. That will make the extended saddlebag project much cheaper. Been waiting to convert the Custom saddlebags to the hard bags forever. Stoked!

Hope these were not ones stolen from another bike. Very common practice.

What he said. Did the seller have the bike they came off? Of course including hardware may suggest they were legit.

Why would the hardware included make them more legit?
You think a thief would snag a set of bags, then strip the hardware off them
before reselling? makes no sense to me.

I think "including hardware" means hinges, latches, teather and mounting brackets that are on the bags (not the mounting bars that are on the bike).
Like you would have if you stole the bags (all one piece).

No way in hell that a Harley owner who KNOWS the value on them bags, sells them for $200 including harware. That's a HOT DEAL in more ways than one.
