Default HD Hybrid Ultra-Light Half Helmet & Street Glide??

Anyone use HD's Hybrid Ultra-Light Half Helmet with a Street Glide w/ stock windsheild? Just wondering if the buffetting is bad. I'm 5'-10". Lot of $$ to pay if i won't be able to use it. I guess I could always get a bigger (or recurve) shield if its a problem.

Didn't get any feedback but figured I'd give an update so if anyone else in thinkng about it, you'll know. Previously, I've always worn a novelty helmet and haven't had any buffeting issues. Got the HD helmet. With the stock 4" windshield had some buffeting over 50mph. Made reading street signs a little challenging.

Picked up a Klock Werks 6.5 flare windshield. That helped a good bit and made it bearable at 70+ mph. Still not completely perfect (although much better). Of course I'm not sure that perfect is possible. LOL. Just ordered a set of the HD adjustable wind deflectors, which from what i've read do a good bit to reduce/eliminate buffeting.

Maybe a little overkill, but i'm planning a big ride this summer and want to be able to enjoy it w/o distraction.

I have that helmet. I could never ride with it even with a 6 1/2 inch klockwerks shield.
I put the wind deflectors that go under the fairing and put the stock 4 inch shield back on. I was able to wear the helmet with no buffeting even on a extremely windy day. Don't get me wrong I get alot of wind the stock shield, but with the lower deflectors I wore the helmet you are asking about with no eyeball jiggle or head rattle. I took the bike much faster than I usually do just to see if I could bring on the buffeting and I couldn't.

So I think you will be happy with adding the fairing deflectors.

I have the adjustable fairing deflectors you are getting and I never open them up.
If I do I get buffering immedately.

I sure wish some aerodynamics expert would weight in on this topic. Why do the deflectors help? I want to know the technical reasons.
