Looking at it I think I'd get one if I didn't already have the Klock Werks screen

I think that HD just wants some of the market and $ that KW is getting.
Just for the record I wasn't impressed with the KW 6.5 for the SG.
I like the classic LRS 9 inch w/the slight flip.

I think it compliments the lines of the Batwing, but I didn't pick one up due to the fact you can't have fairing pouches with it.

Looks nice though.

I bought one when I picked the bike up. Had a 180 mile trip home and the stock shield wasn't going to cut it. I prefer it over the Klock 6 1/2" version. Klock has more of a bubble on top that sends the air into my ears requiring earplugs. The HD version is square on top making a bigger pocket for my melon.

Did seem to have more of a downforce feel with the Klock though. That's what it was designed for and it works well for that.

Have one on my 09. I think its about equivalent to the 8.5" regular shield I took off, and looks a lot better. Still catch some wind, but not really any more than with the 8.5" shield. The "hips" seem to work very well at kicking the air out sideways.

Dont expect miracles, but if your happy with a shield you look OVER (as apposed to thru) which means you are used to getting some air, you will probably like it. Compared to the stock 4" SG shield, its MUCH better. Im 6 feet tall btw.

I put one on my classic and did a lot of riding with it this weekend. It looks good but I put the 9" shield back on when I got home, the wind noise was just too much. Even with ear plugs it was just pounding my ears. I'm going to get a quick detach tourpack kit and put it back on to get the streetglide look, i'll just have to wear a 3/4 helmet instead of the 1/2 shell.
