I have the super reach on my SG. I am 5'4" and have a 31" inseam. Without the seat I would have a heck of a time; my knees are not bent, but my are feet on the ground.
I would agree that there isn't a lot of padding, however the deep seat does help support the lower back. I still have a little slide in the saddle as I am not that big and don't have the "male issue".
The seat does what it says, moves you forward and lower, but does sacrifice some comfort. I notice this most when I am riding in town (stop/start). Once I get settled in, it is a comfortable saddle.

I'm curious about the difference of the reach or super reach seats. I am 5'4" no "jewels" on this lady I ride a 2007 Super Glide Custom and looking for a more comfortable seat that will lower me about an inch. I don't really need to move any closer as I have my 12 inch apes installed. I do ride my daughter (she likes Mommy's bike) so I do need to have either a 2 up or a passenger pillion. Any thought?

I have the Reach seat on my EG Classic. I'm 5"7 with 29 inseam and it works great for me. The only issue is the wife doesn't like it. She say it's uncomfortable. I was thinking of sending it to Mean City to have the rear built out from a 16" to 18". I spoke with them and they said the could also make the driver's part more confortable as well. I might go that route.

I have the Reduced Reach (54383-11). I know it is not the Super Reduced Reach in the title. I have had it for almost 7000 miles. It has held up nicely. It began as a bit of a nut-hugger pushing me forward. It has since relaxed a little and I fit comfortably.

Couple things people may not realize. First it pushes you forward. This gives you a great deal more control at slow speeds. Helps me a lot when teaching MSF courses. Secondly it has a high back that supports the back and spine. It works as a back rest of sorts and gives me support.

Note: Being 5'5", the seat and Profile Shocks have my EGUL at the perfect height and me flat footed.
