There are a lot of people who do it but I think it really depends on the bike whether or not it looks good. I think if it's been lowered you can get away with it. Personally, I think if you have the money go with both...if not, one's fine until you can get the cash to get the other.

Enjoy!

i do, but mine are similar enough that it doesn't stand out that much. or my wallet is slim enough already that i can't afford the rear wheel to match. either way its a good argument.

mine are both chrome spoke rim's with white wall tires. You can't really see it from the left side, but it is noticable when inspecting the bike from the right. however I haven't had anyone say, "thats a nice bike, how come your rims don't match."

I was going to do it. But with the '10 streetglide wheel being 18 and mathing my 16" read it's easy. And cheaper. But ya. I'd do it. Was going to put the PM wrath wheel but saving 800.00 bucks. More upgrades elsewhere.

If you have a chrome Fat Boy rim on the rear I think that would be fine.
A solid chrome rim would be just fine on the rear. All you are going to see is the edge anyway.

A plain stock rim I would not do. I would see it every time I looked at the bike. lol
But your setup is perfect. I had thought about doing a solid chrome rim when I did mine.

King's Ride is all spokes, so it isn't so noticable.

do the front first. If your happy then cool. If not you can always do the rear afterwards if you needed to.

I am with everyone else! If you can afford both get them if you want to try out the front only do that. My bike I am going to just do the front because of the back all I can see it the chrome edge of the rim. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.

I put the chrome Ultra Limited front wheel on my 09 Classic. It was on there about 2 days and I decided I gotta get the rear too. There was just a bit of the rear polished alum rim showing, and maybe i'm the only one that noticed, but it bugged me enough....

I would start with the front first. Then when all other mods are done, get the rear.
