There are a lot of people who do it but I think it really depends on the bike whether or not it looks good. I think if it's been lowered you can get away with it. Personally, I think if you have the money go with both...if not, one's fine until you can get the cash to get the other.

i do, but mine are similar enough that it doesn't stand out that much. or my wallet is slim enough already that i can't afford the rear wheel to match. either way its a good argument.
mine are both chrome spoke rim's with white wall tires. You can't really see it from the left side, but it is noticable when inspecting the bike from the right. however I haven't had anyone say, "thats a nice bike, how come your rims don't match."

If you have a chrome Fat Boy rim on the rear I think that would be fine.
A solid chrome rim would be just fine on the rear. All you are going to see is the edge anyway.
A plain stock rim I would not do. I would see it every time I looked at the bike. lol
But your setup is perfect. I had thought about doing a solid chrome rim when I did mine.
King's Ride is all spokes, so it isn't so noticable.
