Looking at other 2010 Ultra's in the same color as mine, Merlot/Cherry Red Sunglo, I notice that the paint scheme is different on my fairing. On the HD website it show the Cherry Red on the upper part on the top above the headlight. Mine is merlot there and cherry red on the lower part behind the aux lights.

Upon further research I see the same scheme I have on the Ultra Limited fairing. Is it possible that a limited fairing was installed on mine at the factory by mistake. I have seen several Limited's on here as well with the same paint on the fairing as mine. The rest of the bike is correct.

Thoughts?

Above is the link to Moco's website showing what the paint should look like. As is normal the colors represented are better live, but I think yo can get the general idea.

if you look at the rest of the bike darker color is on top of all other parts maybe HD photo is off I think yours is correct but hey if you want call HD customer service

 

If it is different be glad. Now you aren't part of the clones with the opposite scheme.

 

That is strange.....however I have known the MoCo to screw up on the site before.

 

I found one on Ebay and it was the opposite of yours. I think the guy at the Harley plant that pick the parts was hung over the morning they built yours!!!

 

Here is a picture of another with the opposite paint scheme from Ultra2010's post and I just looked at h01waterman's Limited on his latest post and his fairing matches mine. Hmmm....I think more research may be warranted!
