Default Revolution performance EMS tuner

Is anyone running one of these tuners? And is this a piggyback unit?

it may be a neat tuner, but if whoever is running the dynomometer is dialing in your bike for you, and they're not familiar with it, that may pose a problem. i'm using the sepst, and many use the sert, pcv, tts mastertune, etc, which dyno guru's are familiar with.

If you do a search you will find a couple threads about people who have them. Not one bad review that I have read. I have also personally spoken with two different exhaust manufacturers that recommended the unit, especially for builds or pipes that some may find difficult to tune. There is also a nice thread on the install on the CVO site

I've got the new Revolution Performance EMS on the way, I will be installing it when my build is complete in about 3 weeks. I will post my feelings and findings. From all the research I've done on the various forums, there is nothing but praise for this tuner! It just works and works well, I talked to Brian at Revolution Performance and he seems like a straight shooter, answered all my questions, did not run down anyone elses tuner. I look forward to getting my bike back together and getting this bad boy installed!

I will be ordering one in March (compensator first). Had a chat with one of the sponsors here and am more then convinced to go with the RP EMS. No dyno and hoping to find a decent tuner is a big selling feature for me.

Do you have to have 18mm bungs put in your Fat cat for this tuner? And do you know whether if you have a downloaded flash already in your ecu does it matter with this tuner? Thanks
