Default Hope this may help you select your new handlebars

I had made a spreadsheet to help me decide what bars to buy for my FLHTK. I ended up ordering the KW Ergo Ups, but I won't know what they are like until I take the bike out of storage in the spring.

I've attached the spreadsheet as a jpeg file as I couldn't get the info into the body of this message.

Hey, thanks! That spreadsheet will come in handy when I (hopefully) get a new FLHX!

HD used to, and maybe still does, measure pull back differently than most aftermarket mfgs.
Maybe somebody knows for sure.

I believe I should refrain from responding to this thread...

I guess that didn't work! Takin the time to create a spreadsheet as an aid to proper handle bar selection, probably comes from day dreaming too much about the 'Harley Lifestyle'...

That's just a little too geeky for me. I could understand a comparison list, but why a spreadsheet? I'd think only an accountant would be interested in manipulating the numbers while idling away behind an office desk. What is the purpose for those of us who aren't proficient with simple addition/subtraction (add 1 cup Tide to 1 washer load, in order to subtract grease/oil from worn/torn jeans)?

that's basically it, a comparison list, it was just easier to do it on a spreadsheet as I simply copied and pasted the info from the various manufacturer web sites about their bars.

and the most important thing......the people at work actually thought I was working.

Speaking as a nerd/geek/**** accountant type myself and as a bad *** MC HD riding **** ;-) - I found this VERY helpful/useful - thank you for taking the time to put it together and sharing it - very smart IMO! :-)
