RE: Water inside headlight lens after wash ?????
No there is no seal, but you CAN remove the lens if you are very careful. They showed me how at the dealership after I had the same problem with my 06 Roadglide. Take a very small screwdriver and very carefully slip it into the recesses you'll find along the bottom (one near each side). Push the tabs up and carefully ease the lens out. Do the same along the top and carefully ease it straight off the headlight. It just pops right back on if you dont break it (Did I mention to be CAREFUL?) BTW, it helps if you have an extra pair of hands to do this....or you can ask a friend to help.

I hate the spots too, But have tried to get the damn thing off and was afraid it was going to break.
I wish they would put hidden hinges in the top of it and a set screw at the bottom so you could just lift it up and clean it and then put it back in place.
I understand why there is know o-ring or gasket because they need to let the heat out somehow, but it sure would be nice to be able to get the dead bugs and water spots out of it.

I had a similar problem with water getting into the turn signals on my RK and the stealership said there was nothing they could do about it.
