2011 Ultra Limited

2011 Ultra Limited
Like many, I want a little more sound, a better breathing motor and a lot cooler running setup than stock. I have done all the loud pipes stuff for years and 95% of my riding is now on highways or road trips, so I don't really want LOUD like I had with other systems on my past bikes.
I decided on the Fullsac x-pipe to get rid of the cat and get better out-flow and Big Sucker just to bump the in-flow. TTS MasterTune is also on the way.
The hard part was the mufflers. After lots of research I went ahead and pulled my stock mufflers and sent them to Steve at Fullsac to see what he could do. He getting ready his new options for stock mufflers. He cut the ends off, pulled the stock baffles, installed his 1.75" baffles (the quieter of the three he makes) then called and asked me if I wanted slash-up or slash-down, chrome or black tips. I went slash-down and chrome.
Here are a couple of pics of my mufflers - one with the chrome and one with the black. Hard decision, but I went chrome and get wait to install all and see how the bike runs!

I'm in the same boat as you, a/c, tuner, new V&H power duals, but the struggle was the mufflers, for my 11 Ultra RG.
These look good.
So he did this with your stock mufflers? Can't wait to get the update on how it sounds. Cost?? Show us some pics on the bike and if you get ambitioius a sound clip would be great.

Yes. The mufflers in the pics are the stock mufflers off my Limited at the Fullsac shop.
It is $199 for the recore kit to do it yourself. I pulled mine, shipped to Fullsac and he did the modifications for another $50. I think it's a pretty good deal and I'll try to post some pics when I get them on the bike.
