One compensates for a Stage 1 setup (pipes and air) the other compensates for Stage 1 (big bore 95" and cams, etc.) Better to go with a PCIII, SERT, DFO, etc. instead of getting a download

Stage I (Legal) - High Flow A/C unit and appropriate ECM flash.

Stage I (Race) - High flow A/C, Slip on SE Muffs, and ECM Flash.

Stage I (BB) - Big Bore, High Flow A/C, ECM Flash.

Stage II (BB) - Big Bore, Cams, High Flow A/C, Slip on muffs, ECM Flash.....

ECM flashes are designed/intended for specified HD mods....PCIII is THE most popular/proven EFI tuning device on the market....for good reason....IT WORKS!

I bought my RK Classic used. The bike has S&S 510 gears and a K&N Filter, it also came with Vance and Hines true duals with SE slip-ons. I put a Thunderheard 2 into 1 pipe and want to install a PC III but am not sure if the previous owner installed a Stage 1 or Stage 2 download. Can I use a PC III or do I have to use a SERT?

PCIII and a precise dyno tune for that particular combo...it'll run strong!

I thought about the SERT but it is to expensive for me right now. I am going to buy my PCIII from www.fuelmotousa.com. I don't know what I would do without this forum! Is there any other advice I need to know before I make my purchase? Thanks in advance!

Here's the solution: go to the stealer and have them set your ECM back to stock. Get a PCIII from Fuel/Moto and speak with Jamie. I'm sure that's what he would recommend. That's what he told me to do.

How difficult is it to install a PCIII? Where does it go...is it attached somewhere?
