Default Rinehart exhaust on the stock pipes

I own a 2006 Road King Classic and just bought used Rinehart Tru Duals. I want to know if I can use these as a slip-ons to the original stock exaust? Thanks

Well yes and no. If they are true duals no I think the mufflers have a bigger inlet than stock. If you just bought the slipon's yes they will.

i've read that you cant use the slip-ons on the dual pipes and the slip-on fit the stock pipes so logic tells me they are two different sizes. But this is just me thinking.

The factory head pipe size is 1 3/4" I believe, and the True Duals 2", so no you cannot interchange them.

Why would you run the factory head pipe if you bought the complete True Duals anyhow?

I was told that the sound wont be any different if I left the stock pipes on. The power commander would have to be adjusted. Guess he was wrong. thanks..

this is wierd because I have a buddy with an 03 RK and he had a full set of rinehart true duals and did not like the loss of lowend torq and put his stock headers on and kept the rinehart mufflers. I agree it sounds very much the same. Maybe the changed at some point but his is an 03 and the Rineharts were bought in late 03 or early 04.
