Tuesday I finally traded in my beloved 2008 105th Superglide for a 2011 Sedona Orange Road King. I'll miss the superglide, but after 2 hours I was dying to get off it, so I wanted something that I could take for a longer haul.

For the longest time I thought I wanted a Street Glide but after test riding a Street Glide, Road Glide and a Road King back to back last October the Road King just spoke to me the most. So since October I've been trying to decide on the RKC vs. the RK. I loved the looks of the classic more, but liked the idea of the lockable and water sealed saddlebags. Plus I hated cleaning the spoke wheels on the superglide.

Sweet ride...welcome to the club! I just traded my 08 Fatbob for a RKC classic! I also had a 2005 Superglide, so love my Dynas...but The Road King was calling my name too..Enjoy!

 

Very sharp looking color. I traded in a Dyna LR on an RK about 2 years ago. I'm still very happy I did. Enjoy.

congrats. I'm picking up my new 2011 FLHP Road King next week. I have to give them my pipes, power commander and air filter tomorrow, but don't know if i'll get it before next tuesday or so. always busty saturday and closed monday tuesday.

Congrats Bro. I did the same thing. Went from a Dyna to the RK. I thought I would have sellers remorse after getting rid of that bike since it was my first one. Nope. I like the RK better and better with each mile

 

Congrats on the new bike! Do the 2011's come with the bottom mount license plate or is that an add on? Looking to do something with mine and I like the way that looks.
