Default Stalling at idle

I have 07 Street Glide for the most part stock, Rinehart Duals, Mo-Flow Air Cleaner and no fuel management. Just recently usually after it warms up it wants to stall at idle. It runs fine other than that, didn't know if anyone out there has had any experience like that...any help would be appreciated.

Had same problem on my 07 ...it was a sticky IAC. Do a search...that's how I found and fixed the problem.

Yep IAC must be dirty. Go buy a can of the spray sea foam stuff. Pull your air cleaner and spray it in the hole inside the top of the throttle body. Do a search as it's been covered many times. Real easy fix and should be repeated every other service.

Thanks guys...have it in for a 15K service right now told the dealer what was going on and there was no mention of IAC. Service guy wanted to keep pointing at the ECM..can't wait to here what they have to tell me. I cleaned the throttle body a year or so ago and haven't thought much about it since.
Everything I've read points to the IAC..this forum is the best...thanks again.

One thing the forum doesn't have is a good search feature...

Well I've been out of of town for a few days on business..I talk with the wife and she tells me the dealer called (I gave them my cell phone number 1st strike) they can't find anything wrong..no codes showed up...( second strike). You would think that all the talk about the IAC they may think to clean it...strike 3. I've never had any real problem with this dealer but you would like to think they would take a little more time trying to diagnose the issue. The only thing that was done was a LONG test ride ( joy ride ) and they didnt have any problems...I'll pick it up next week bring it home and clean the IAC myself and hope for the best. Thanks for the help.

I had mostly high-idle problems only on cold starts, and after cleaning the IAC orifice I replaced the IAC motor, a $40 proposition. That mostly cleared-up the idle problems but it still occurs occasionally when first started, but now only when warm. It will clear-up if I turn it off, then restart.

Default 2006 Heritage Softail Classic Carberated stalls at idle

My 06 Heritage Softail stalls at idle just like the others. It is carberated not feul injected, does anyone have a fix for this. I can ride for about 30 mins before it will stall at idle. I've cleaned carburetor, replaced air filter element, tried tuning and check all gaskets. Please, if anyone knows a fix, let me know. It's driving me crazy!!!
