Question 1" VS 2" front lowering

On my 09 Street Glide i would like your opinion on lowering 1" or 2" with a progressive kit. What are the pros and cons.

Thanks guys.

I'ved lowered them 1" before and still had a good ride , 2" you are going to have to run it way to stiff to keep from bottoming and hurt the ride

I lowered mine 2" and it rode way to rough. I went to 1" and it's a lot better.

2 was way too much for me. such a rough ride, and bottomed out a few times. I'd definitely stick to 1".

Yes rear is lowered 1". At this point it looks like 1" is winning.

if you run a 21" front wheel 2'' is the way to keep your geometry correct if the rear is lowered, but yes rides rough but looks good. I have a kit for sale( progressive 10-1561) it does 1 or 2 $50 plus shipping

I don't think it rides rough...i mean, it's no cadillac air ride, but it's firm in the corners.

21" front w/ 2" dropped monotubes. never had an issue bottoming out
