So, what is a 2002 RG with 105K on it worth?

It's worth what your local market is willing to pay. I sold an 02 fatboy with $40k invested, limited edition color, touring upgrades not crazy one-off stuff with 50,000+ miles. Got $9500 and only after listing on ebay. Craigslist for a month hit nothing, dealer offered $7k.
I would list it for $6500 and hope for $5500. Those of us who ride a lot know mileage not an issue when cared for. We are not your target buyers, because we want to put more miles on ourselves and generally already have a bike. If we're buying, we're upgrading. Your buyer is a new rider who doesn't want to invest too much before knowing they'll stick with it.

you can c easily get 7 - 7500 lots of people just looking for a clean (title) frame and tins QUOTE=Beeracuda;8381918]If they would get close to $7,500.00 I would consider trading. But they offered me $1,500.00! What? $1,500.00? I could part it out and make a ton more than that. There's not any damage to the bike and it runs great.
Needless to say, I can't see shopping there when time for another bike.[/QUOTE]
