Default Extended Brake and Shift Pedal longer than 1" ?

Considering going to Arlen Ness Floorboard Extenders which will move the boards forward 2", and the Harley Extended Reach Floorboards which have a 1" extension built into them.

This will move the boards 3" forward from stock on my 2012 FLHTK.

Problem is, I can't find anyone that makes extended Brake Pedals or Shift Levers longer than 1" over stock(on the newer bikes).

Anyone aware of a company that makes anything longer?

I thought the Kuryakin ones were 1-3/8", not sure. Much longer and the travel gets too long, I'm guessing.

I used the 2" extensions on my Road King. good quality. I'd recommend them.

Call them at Accutronix.com.
Mine are 2" over oem and weren't on their website. They were great over the phone. I went with Paul Yaffe Afterburner floorboards and changed foot controls at same time.

The instructions say you have to modify your lowers, if installed... but the mod looked fairly simple.

I've got the Arlen Ness brackets and the HD extended floorboards on my '09 FLTR - along with the spacers. So there's ~3" forward and spaced ~1" out too. I have the Softbrake pedal and the extended shift lever from Walter's Workshop (http://waltersworkshop.com/extended-shift-levers.html). Their shift level is 2 1/4" longer than stock. I had a Kuryakyn on previously, but the spline in that POS gave-way and it stripped-out. Walter's also has an extended brake pedal, but I don't have any experience with it. The shift level is VERY well made. Good luck!

SixRider,

What length Softbrake pedal did you go with, I'm assuming the +2" ?

Does the Softbrake allow you to slide your foot under the pedal?

Thanks

the Ness floorboard extensions I had on my FBL moved the boards forward by 3"...they're the same ones I plan on putting on my RKC, supposedly they will fit. The best thing about them was that they moved the actual controls also, both the shifter and brake pedal moved 3" forward. I didn't need to buy an extended shifter and brake pedal. For outward movement I used a set of Harley Goodies and the fit was perfect, very comfortable. The kit even came with the new extended brake line.
