AIM VP92 with 340 lb spring only if you ever plan on going big bore (103/107 CI). Don't forget you can't reuse the five bolts that hold the inner primary in place.
I would go ahead and replace the primary auto chain tensioner. That part number has been superceded twice since 2008. The newer model is much more beefy and does away with the alignment dowel extensions that are on the back of the part.

I have a 2007. Do you know the part number for the newer, improved piece?
Thanks

Got the new tensioner. When replacing, is there anything I need to do to it before installation (adjust, align, etc.), or do I simply bolt it in and go?
Thanks
Nothing special to do. Make sure you discard the old extensions that you used with the old style tensioner, add a couple of drops of blue locktite and torque it down to specs and THEN cut the zip tie loose. The tensioner will self adjust.

Never heard of any issues with the orig tensioner. Yes there are revisions but 90% of people dont have a problem and Iif I did Id get the Baker unit that can tighten and loosen. Over 100k and never an issue with opperation or wear.Just dont believe in fixing what aint broke.
