OK, seems like there is so much confusion on what speaker will drop into the CVO Lower Vented Fairing Speaker Pods. Which speaker will go in and which grill will fit. Can a speaker spacer be used to bring the height flush so a grill that is wider than the hole be used? Can we get a list going on drop in speakers for the CVO Pods.........

 

i used 6.5 speaker spacers to get the fogate speakers to fit.
i just had to sand down the sides of the spacer to fit down in the CVO box.

 

Jl audio 61/2 will fit right in..

Infinity 62.9i Kappa works. If you want to use the included grills, you would need to use a 1/2" spacer.

Thanks for the info....trying to compile a list to help myself and others in the future. Half inch spacer should alow most to fit maybe?

 

kicker 6.5 4ohm subs,wasn't dropp in but fit with some mods,had to grind down the dia. slightly and add 1\4 inch spacer behind speaker(magnets were bottoming)used rockford grills,they slipped in between speaker and housing.
