Can anyone give me the torque for the Harleygoodies footboard extenders bolts for a 2012 Limited?

Glidesternfan beat me to it. 36-42 ft-lbs. The pivot bolt nut is 60-80 in-lbs. This info is out of the 2012 Touring Manual.

Does this mod extend the footbox out? I was just riding my bike the other day thinking that the footboard is not large enough for my big feet, but extending out my work.

Any pictures of this installed?

Out yes, about an inch. There are after market floorboards that are bigger if you need more. BTW there is a Sticky on this with more info.

THANKS, Glidesternfan & paulhog!!! I had a set on my old 2007 and just bought a set for my new 2012 Limited. I have the service manual for my old 2007 and noticed that the mounting is different so thought the torque values may be different too. All clear now!

Watch when you install them. The one bolt on both sides split the lock washer before 36 ft-lbs of torque! I had to use another lock washer out of my stock and that seemed to work. Noticed the stock bolt that came out did not have a lock washer on it. That may be the reason why. Both of these were the bolt to the rear on both sides. The front bolts did not have a problem with the lock washer and 36 ft-lbs of torque. Strange!
