I've got an 07 Road Glide with the SE AC, 07 SE Touring Slip-ons and the Stage 1 Download. Not happy with the sound of new SE mufflers (too quiet) and would like to replace them with Rush Slip-ons with 1.75 or 2.0 baffles. Will I need to gowith the SERT or Power Commander for this change? Not sure how much freer flowing the Rush's are compared to the 07 SE Slip-ons.

 

From what i understand the Rush 1.75 and 2.0 are the same as the SE II Performance Pipes, just a different Vendor. One of my Riding Buddies has an 07 RK with the Rush 2.0 and I have a 07 RG and they sound the same side by side and the seat Dyno feels the same also

 

Love the sound of my Rush 2.0. Try Fuelmoto USA for a good price on pkg deal. I ordered Rush 2.0, PCIII w/preprogrammed map, K&N RK-3909 and got a great deal from Jamie. You could get a better deal w/Ness Super Sucker rather than the K&N, jus depends on what you like. Easy to install and runs great straight out the box. Good Luck.

 

wife just purchased a 07 street glide installed rush exhaust with 2inch and it sounds awesome

 

rush is not the same as SE... I think he ment to say Supertrapp is the same as SE

 

Put on Rush2.25, PCIII, and K&N just yesterday. What a difference in sound and performance! Took a 25 mile "test"rideeven tho it was only 37degrees outside. Can't wait for spring!

I got the Stage I set up and Rush exhaust put on at the "stealership" (I love that term..lol). Even though it cost me my left nut it was well worth it. The performance improvement was felt immediately. The exhaust note is low and throaty, with a rumble. To me, what a Harley shout sould like I got the 1.75 Baffles, and they are just right. Not TOO loud, but loud enough. You can feel em!

I have the 1.75 Rush, K&N, and PCIII with map from Fuel Moto. Sound is perfect: Deep but not too loud at idle and cruising, barks a bit on acceleration. Does not drown out my stereo, which was a priority for me. I am happy with this setup and am still tweaking the PCIII for improved gas mileage.

 

Road Glider, did you install a fuel management system of some sort with the Stage 1?

 

Road glider. That is the set-up I am currently considering. How is the PERFORMANCE with the SE Slip-ons? Are these the 2-piece or one-piece slip-ons?...maybe we can work out a deal on the SE slip-ons....

Any chance of a sound bite to hear the pipes?
