Default Dumb newbie question ~

So in 09 the frames changed. What if any changes were made to the front end? Are the fork tubes/cow bells/etc all the same? I know that ABS and axles changed, but trying to figure out what is a direct swap between <=MY08 and >=MY09

I know you want a quick definitive answer, but this is in the "teach a man to fish" category:

you can track changes with a parts manual.

the last 2 digits in a part number denote when the part was introduced.

you can browse part digrams from year to year and compare here at:

http://www.shopronniesharleydavidson...partfinder.htm

makes the 'what fits what', easier to figure out

The simple answer to your ? is the internals have changed some over the years, but tubes, cow bells, & lowers are the same from 2000-present, the ABS & axles are the same from 2008-present.

Thanks dttjglide for the short answer and thanks mkguitar for the fishing pole. Bookmarked that site, used to use something similar for understanding all the parts on my vdubs (ETKA).
