Default Un Geezering my Ultra Limited (Tour Pack Removal)

I bought my Ultra Limited because I wanted the tour pack for when my daughters ride with me. I saw several advantages for them, (comfort, visibility with the extra lights, and to keep them from falling off the back). I wanted to un-Geezer Glide it so I changed out the mufflers for Street Glide slash downs, and changed to fairing mirrors.

Next was making the tour pack removable for when I ride solo. With the help of several threads on this forum, I did all of the labor myself. Searching EBay for good deals on parts also saved me a bunch of bucks. Total cost for tour pack detatch, Deutsch wiring connectors, and Road King license plate relocation was about $550 Here are the results.

Deutsch Wiring:

Where to get the Deutsch connectors and rent the crimp tool:

License Plate Relocation:

Here is a YouTube video that will walk you through the install step by step.

Sharp lookin bike! I'm not a big fan of flames but those work on that paint. We got a place near Harkers. When the water warms up some there will be a good time had by all!

I love bikes (especially touring) with a solo seat. That is the way I keep mine unless the OL decides to go along a few times a year. Yours looks great!!!
