Default Bug removal

I know Harley recommends using their cleaning products to remove bugs off, but what other aftermarket products work too like at Walmart? Looking mainly at the windshield and fairing for use on.

1/2 water and 1/2 Hydrogen Peroxide....eats the protein in the bugs...spray, let it soak for a few and wipe them off...works great.

All you really need is water - lay a wet towel over the shield/fairing and let it soak for 10 min to soften them up. Then wipe off! Works on helmet shields too.

I use lemon pledge, I lightly mist everything, go heavier on the big splats. I let it sit for awhile and then wipe with a micro fiber cloth. Cheap, easy and works great

As many coats of wax on the fairing as your arm will allow.

Then just use a wet microfiber towel, the bugs wipe right off.
