Default Dealers price on a 13 Road King. Am I getting stiffed?

Dealer price on a 2013 FLHR with midnight pearl paint, cruise, and the wheel option, 19250 out the door. Seems high. Should I go somewhere else?

Does not have security/abs

Waiting for your opinions before I pull the trigger or pass. Thanks!

I dont know if its high or not, and neither will you until you shop around. Send an email with exactly what you want to ABC, Motor City, Wolverine and Tecumseh (which has a reputation for good prices), and see what you get.

MSRP plus tax is $18760, cruise is another $300, wheel option is $460, so its not horrible, but I would still shop around

I agree, you need to shop around to convince yourself you're getting the best dealavailable in the area you are shopping. One thing you have to accept is, no matter how good a deal you get, someone will post about how they got a better one than you did. I'm convinced that someone on this forum was paid to take the bike off the dealers hands and got a little somethin-somethin from the hottest chick in motor clothes just to close the deal.

Or will say that's what happened...

I either paid under MSRP on my new RK and got hosed on my trade-in, or I paid MSRP and got a solid deal on my trade-in.

But I talked to 3 dealers and all were quoting around MSRP. I felt like there was some wiggle room, but not a lot.

Usually not a lot of wiggle room this time of year. I have bought all my bikes in the winter and got great deals. Typically $1k to $2k off MSRP and 30% off any accessory and no labor charges to add the accessory, no set up or delivery fee's. Tough to get a deal during riding season, if you don't buy it someone else will.
