Bagger Wheelies

not sure why you'd want to do wheelies on a bagger. It's not getting the wheel in the air that's so much of a problem as it is when that weight comes crashing back down. I've seen a couple of guys try it and the landing was not pretty. Both ended up in pile on the ground. Egos and bikes both damaged!

My buddies do it all the time. No problem.
Just need a stout enough motor. The only real issue I've seen is leaking for seals...
I tried it with my 96" bike, but could never get it more than 6" off the ground. My buddy's 124" comes up with a twist if the wrist. As long as you don't wuss out an chop the throttle you can set it down softly.

Mine will come up on occasionally. It's all depends on traction, and weight transfer, if it hooks the front end is climbing for the sky. I know with practice it would do it on command, Gota slip the clutch get it into the power band around 3200 rpms and keep the rear tire hooked and *** over the rear tire. A couple hundred pounds in the saddle bags would help too. And if you screw it up setting the front end down she will throw you off like a bucking bronco, hard to controll 1100lbs. Don't *** with the bull if you don't want the horn. I learned the hard way not something to attempt with a few beers in ya.

While it may look kool and be kinda fun there is no reason for it on pavement. Ya don't see the fast guys on the track doing wheelies, except after they win. I seldom got the front off the ground on my sport-bikes and almost never with a dresser. Now my dirt bikes and super-moto are a whole other thing...
