Default Brake fluid leak at brake handle?

I had my handlebars changed a week ago and now I'm leaking a little brake fluid at the handle. It seems to gather on the inside of the brake handle. Any ideas what I might look at? Thanks.

Is it at the reservoir cap? They leak at the seal over time. I don't know where else if you just removed the brake stuff to change bars. It might have run down to the handle bar.

You sure it's a leak? I cleaned my caliper pistons and when I did so I removed the cap and when I pushed the pistons in a tiny bit of fluid spilled from the reservoir. I cleaned it up immediately but the next several days it appeared to be a leak and it was just residual fluid that had spilled and got in the handle. It came visible while riding, I guess the wind blew it out. After a couple rides nothing.

It it appear to be coming from here?.....

Sanman, my fluid shows up on the inside of the handle. I first noticed a few drops right after the handlebar change, and thought it was just some spillage from that job. But that was 200 miles ago and today when I rode, it was really noticeable. I checked th MC cap, and that was plenty tight.

Also, what is the proper fluid level of fluid when the bike is sitting straight up? (Looking at the fluid window)

What year and model bike are you working on?
Might knot even be relevant to the bar swap.

It took a little while for mine to clear up. But if it's dripping down the handle maybe it's time to replace the gasket, part number 42857-06A. If that's not it perhaps the washers on the banjo bolt or there is a piston service kit available....what is the year and model of the bike?

Based on miles and year it can't be anything internal, but I guess you never know. Also gasket just don't think so. Make sure the banjo bolt is tightened enough and check the bolts on the reservoir cover make sure they are tight. Who did the bar install? And when you say the inside of the handle it's gathering, can you post a picture?
