2014 street glide

Ive had mine for a week, and I have 1000 miles on it.
Everything that is new from last year i am very happy with. BTW is a SGS.
The linked braking system is awesome, the vent in the fairing works as stated. The shocks are better, and I love the hydro clutch. I also love the infotainment cent. The only thing I don't like are the floor boards vs my 10 street glide. They look very cheap in comparison.
I would like taller handle bars......

FLHXS in Denim Black coming off a road king. Like the handling, HO 103 is more snappy. Not liking the hydraulic clutch, needs to slip and have more throttle than my Raider did. 6.5 is almost too much but works good. Popping noise comig from speakers, thin king loose speaker wire. Pretty happy other than that.

The only issue I've experienced is some wind buffeting. I don't know if that's because the windshield is the wrong height or I am. I don't find the fairing vent to help me that much.
That'll be remedied when Clearview comes out with their 2014 model windshields.
The things that really matter like ride, handling and power are all just fine for me. The more I ride this bike, the more I like it.

I'm 6-1 and the vent helps a lot but did not eliminate the buffeting. I will add a slightly taller shield when they are available. Probably a 6 or 7" to keep my glasses from moving around. I had a high windshield on my last bike and it sure made my hour commute on the super slab a lot nicer.
You gotta buy a "special windshield" now for the 14's?
Your Fast Aire Aero's 3 hole shields will not work on these now?
That wouldn't surprise me I guess.
That be the case, no wonder I am not entertaining the notion of a new ride!

Really?? So this will be your very last bike?
The 14's do come with a windshield! And it works very well with the vent.
I took a dremel to the 6" Klockwerks Flare that I have because I am used to it. Just have to notch around the vent opening and make 2 new holes. Took all of 5 minutes.
Ended up putting back the stock 4" because buffeting is all but eliminated. The 4" looks great and now actually works.

That wasn't the question!!
How I posed it was do you have to use the "HD" windshield?
Thank you for so rudely answering that!
Yes, this will probably be my last bike!!
I am 60 years old.
How old are you?
I should have no problems that can't be remedied w/a hundred or two should the need arise down the road.
What I have is plenty good and will do everything I want it to do and it can be worked on by the likes of me.
Does that answer your question?
